MILEY CYRUS " YOUNGER NOW" MUSIC VIDEO AND VMA PERFORMANCE

So for me this was a hard job. I left the Dance business 20 years ago and became an actor. To be honest i just did not like all the bull shit in the dance world.
 this project was with a group of veteran dancers and choreographers that have done everything you have seen in the last 40 years. solid gold  fame, Saturday night fever etc staying alive and every great dancing music vid out there these are the veterans of the dance world.
im a ballroom and latin dance teacher.

I never have been one to pick up combinations quickly I have to take em home do them a thousand times break em down write em out etc to own them .
On this projet there was allot of politics and well ya know. combinations would be taught and changed in moments allot of  cooks in the broth. sometimes it goes that way.
however I stayed the course hoping there would be a place for me to shine. Miley was wonderful. she was kind,giving and amazing. I feel there is an artistic connection there.
she lives close and in the same town so im sure well get the time to hang out not at work.

 Being a musician, dancer ,actor, stuntman Dj, water nut ,surfer kayak er ,im sure there are lots of places we can have common ground.
For ME...... I was not really interested in the music video done a few. but having grown up with MTV watching all these great dancers do there thing  It has always been a dream to dance in the big show with a star at a music awards thing.. So it was great for me to do this. I am 55 now and did not believe I would get the opportunity to do so. Im a character Actor to be blunt I play some very Fucked up people in films.... so we had a good time some struggles,Egos,Frustrations, thought about walking out more than a few times....etc...... but the show went on and i was Honored to be a part of this Change of direction in a  very intelligent ,beautiful young woman's musical career. I must say "great taste in Elvis looking men He he he he she was always there with a hug, a compliment a kiss and a smile.  Thanks For Having me #mileycyrus  #youngernow your Baddie Gang Leader.

"IN A WORLD FAR FAR AWAY"

Here are some photos and video of my time with Miley Cyrus  during the month of Aug,2017 for the filming of her new video Younger Now and the Performance of her return to the MTV VMAs after a 4 year absence.Check out the video and the live VMA performance

Frankie Ray is an actor however he was a professional ballroom/Latin Dance instructor for Arthur Murray's and Fred Astaire for 11 years finishing up his Teaching career at the  Arthur Murray in Beverly Hills Ca. 
Frankie did not have an audition for this project He crashed the audition. Crashing is when your not scheduled to audition ie On the list but you just show up and see if you can audition. 

There were 3 12 hr day rehearsals learning the dance combination Choreographer Michael Rooney.
 The Audition called for Dancers "60 to 90 years old" Frankie is 55.

The music  Video was shot on a sound stage and as an improve Frankie grabbed Miley's by the neck and kissed her  Being the consummate performer Miley Cyrus is, she went with it and they loved it Frankie Ray and the rest of the people in the shot became known as Milye's  "Baddie gang". 

 All were hired to re tool the dance routine and perform it live at the Los Angeles Forum Aug .27th 2017  The Music Video Younger now was released 5 days before the MTV VMAs performance.

<To the Left is the Live performance at the MTV VMAs 10,000 people there and 5.8 million watching on 10 different networks live around the world
